Summary

The purpose of this bill is to include pharmacy benefits manager within the definition of third-party administrator; to impose reasonable restrictions on audits conducted by pharmacy benefits managers, including an internal appeal process; and to require pharmacy benefits managers to provide notice to purchasers, pharmacies, and pharmacists information relating to maximum allowable costs.
