Summary

The purpose of this bill is to reduce landfill solid waste assessment fees in West Virginia effective on the first day of a calendar month that begins 60 days after a three consecutive month period during which the average tonnage of solid waste disposed of in West Virginia landfills exceeds 185,000 tons per month during that consecutive three month period.
