Summary

The purpose of this bill is to clarify eligibility requirements to register and to vote. It revises provisions to comply with federal election law and clarifies procedures for assistance in voting by eliminating noncompliance with federal law, removing restrictions on absentee ballots, removing obsolete code language and waiving requirements for witnesses when a ballot is electronic.
