Summary

The purpose of this bill is to relieve the burden imposed on counties and municipalities of incarcerating inmates in the state regional jails by changing the way the cost of incarcerating inmates in regional jails is paid so that it is shared by the state, counties and municipalities, where the alleged criminal act occured.
