Summary

The purpose of this bill is to create the West Virginia Transportation Oversight Commission. The bill provides for the designation of five transportation districts with the selection of members of the commission from each district. The bill provides for compensation and expenses of members and funding for a part-time support staff person. The bill sets forth certain powers and duties of the commission and requires the preparation of an annual report to be submitted to the Governor and Legislature.
