SENATE BILL NO. 988 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the House Committee on Rules on February 17, 2011) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Senator Puller) A BILL to amend and reenact § 30-170 of the Code of Virginia, relating to extending the sunset for the Joint Commission on Health Care.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 30-170 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 30-170. (Expires July 1, 2012) Sunset.

The provisions of this chapter shall expire on July 1, ~~2012~~2013.
