VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to require certain community colleges to develop policies to increase dual enrollment in career and technical education courses that are not at full capacity. [S 846] Approved

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  §1. That Danville Community College, Patrick Henry Community College, Southside Virginia Community College, Virginia Western Community College, and Wytheville Community College shall, under the terms of their existing dual enrollment agreements with public high schools that are located in the regions served by the community colleges, develop policies to encourage greater dual enrollment in career and technical education courses that are not at full capacity. Such policies shall include notification to public high schools of vacancies in career and technical courses.
