WHEREAS, Chef Skip 757 is a beloved, Black-owned seafood takeout restaurant serving the Virginia Beach and Portsmouth communities; and
WHEREAS, beginning his culinary endeavor in a food truck, Chef Skip has recently expanded Chef Skip 757 into multiple locations in Virginia Beach and Portsmouth; and
WHEREAS, using fresh, quality ingredients, Chef Skip 757 has become celebrated throughout the Hampton Roads region for its exceptional fried seafood offerings; and
WHEREAS, Chef Skip garnishes his meals with the unique touch of an edible flower and a side of his delicious house sauce; and
WHEREAS, Chef Skip 757 places great emphasis on service and hospitality, providing its customers a satisfying and memorable dining experience; and
WHEREAS, Chef Skip 757 has earned its reputation as one of the exemplars of the Hampton Roads food scene and has helped to make the region a more wonderful place to live, work, and eat; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Chef Skip 757 hereby be commended for its legacy of service in Virginia Beach and Portsmouth; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Chef Skip 757 as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the business's contributions to the Commonwealth.
