Summary

Statutes at Large Modernization Act This bill requires the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) to make the U.S. Statutes at Large available to the public at no cost on a website in a searchable, non-proprietary format. In making such information available to the public, NARA shall work with other federal agencies, including the Library of Congress, the Office of the Clerk of the House of Representatives, the Office of the Secretary of the Senate, the Office of the Legislative Counsel of the House of Representatives, the Office of the Law Revision Counsel, the Congressional Research Service, the Government Publishing Office, and such other entities that NARA considers appropriate. The Library of Congress shall incorporate Statutes at Large data into its legislative information retrieval system.
