WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
recognize Big Bend Regional Medical Center, which recently | ||
received a Trauma Designation Award from the Texas Department of | ||
State Health Services; and | ||
WHEREAS, Trauma designation is a formal recognition of a | ||
hospital's trauma care capabilities and its demonstrated commitment | ||
to exceeding minimum hospital licensure requirements; and | ||
WHEREAS, Big Bend Regional Medical Center earned the Level | ||
IV Designation--Basic Trauma Facility; this designation | ||
recognizes the facility for its dedication to improving, | ||
expediting, and standardizing the care of trauma patients; and | ||
WHEREAS, Trauma care is a vital component of the medical | ||
system, and designation as a trauma facility reflects a | ||
commitment by the hospital's administration and management to | ||
upholding exceptional standards of care; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th | ||
Legislature, hereby commend all associated with Big Bend | ||
Regional Medical Center on their professionalism and commitment | ||
to excellence and extend congratulations to them on receiving the | ||
Level IV Basic Trauma Facility Designation; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
the center as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. | ||
