| WHEREAS, Ashley Merz has ably served her fellow Texans as | ||
| legislative director in the office of State Senator Donna | ||
| Campbell during the 88th Legislative Session; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Merz has managed | ||
| such activities as bill analysis, scheduling, and coordination, | ||
| and her exceptional communication skills have allowed her to | ||
| effectively engage with stakeholders and build constructive | ||
| relationships with legislators and staff; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through her leadership and collaborative | ||
| approach, Ms. Merz has fostered high morale in a positive work | ||
| environment, enhancing the productivity of the legislative team; | ||
| she has set a sterling example through her attention to detail | ||
| and willingness to go above and beyond, and her contributions to | ||
| carrying forth Senator Campbell's legislative agenda have helped | ||
| address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her | ||
| duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and she | ||
| is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; | ||
| now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th | ||
| Legislature, hereby commend Ashley Merz for her service as | ||
| legislative director in the office of State Senator Donna Campbell | ||
| and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all | ||
| her endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Merz as an expression of high regard from the | ||
| Texas Senate. | ||
