BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Sections 1.006(b) and (e), Education Code, are | ||
amended to read as follows: | ||
(b) The advisory board is considered to be [ |

governmental body for purposes of Chapters [ |
||
552, Government Code. | ||
(e) The advisory board shall meet at least quarterly. To | ||
the extent and in the manner authorized by Chapter 551, Government | ||
Code, any [ |
||
electronic means, including a meeting by telephone conference call, | ||
by video conference call, through the Internet, or by any | ||
combination of those means. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. | ||
