A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
 
  relating to the availability of certain property and casualty
  insurance forms on the Internet.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 1812.002, Insurance Code, is amended by
  adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
         (c)  The office of public insurance counsel may post an
  insurer's specimen policy on the office's Internet website.  The
  posting, other than a posting described by Subsection (a), of an
  insurer's specimen policy on an Internet website does not create a
  duty to comply with the requirements of this chapter.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
  a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
  provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution.  If this
  Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
  Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
