A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to seat belt requirements for certain vehicles.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Subsection (f), Section 547.701, Transportation
  Code, is amended to read as follows:
         (f)  A school district is required to comply with Subsection
  (e) only to the extent that the legislature has appropriated money
  for the purpose of reimbursing school districts for expenses
  incurred in complying with Subsection (e) [Texas Education Agency
  pays or commits to pay the district for expenses incurred in
  complying with that subsection.     The Texas Education Agency may
  make grants of appropriated money for the purpose of paying school
  districts under this subsection].
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
