WHEREAS, Tony and Margaret Balios of Lubbock celebrated their | ||
50th wedding anniversary on March 4, 2011, and they may indeed | ||
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; | ||
and | ||
WHEREAS, Tony Balios and the former Margaret Louise Dunn | ||
exchanged the vows of matrimony at a ceremony held in Lubbock in | ||
1961, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each | ||
other a loving life partner; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Balios count among their blessings a | ||
fine family that includes four children, Jacinda Balios, Melissa | ||
Corbitt and her husband, Mike, Jay A. Balios, Jr., and Angela Witt | ||
and her husband, James, as well as four grandchildren, with whom | ||
they share the many special occasions of life; and | ||
WHEREAS, For half a century, Tony and Margaret Balios have | ||
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it | ||
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Tony and Margaret Balios on their | ||
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes | ||
for continued happiness; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Balios as an expression of high regard by | ||
the Texas House of Representatives. |
