WHEREAS, Louis DeLaRosa, Jr., and Ophelia DeLaRosa of Temple | ||
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 1, 2011, and | ||
they may indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they | ||
have shared; and | ||
WHEREAS, Louis DeLaRosa, Jr., and the former Ophelia Aldama | ||
exchanged the vows of matrimony at St. Monica Catholic Church in | ||
Cameron in 1961, and over the course of their marriage, they have | ||
found in each other a loving life partner; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. DeLaRosa count among their blessings a | ||
fine family that includes their daughters, Maria Theresa Villarreal | ||
and her husband, Rudy, and Betty Marie Nemec and her husband, | ||
Stanley, with whom they share the many special occasions of life; | ||
and | ||
WHEREAS, For half a century, Louis and Ophelia DeLaRosa have | ||
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it | ||
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Louis DeLaRosa, Jr., and Ophelia | ||
DeLaRosa on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them | ||
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. DeLaRosa as an expression of high regard | ||
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
