H.R. No. 328

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Louis DeLaRosa, Jr., and Ophelia DeLaRosa of Temple
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 1, 2011, and
they may indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they
have shared; and
WHEREAS, Louis DeLaRosa, Jr., and the former Ophelia Aldama
exchanged the vows of matrimony at St. Monica Catholic Church in
Cameron in 1961, and over the course of their marriage, they have
found in each other a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. DeLaRosa count among their blessings a
fine family that includes their daughters, Maria Theresa Villarreal
and her husband, Rudy, and Betty Marie Nemec and her husband,
Stanley, with whom they share the many special occasions of life;
and
WHEREAS, For half a century, Louis and Ophelia DeLaRosa have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Louis DeLaRosa, Jr., and Ophelia
DeLaRosa on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. DeLaRosa as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
