| WHEREAS, Hannah Hirst of Katy has been accepted into the | ||
| United States Military Academy at West Point; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The daughter of Dan and Tiffany Hirst, Hannah Hirst | ||
| is a graduating senior at Faith West Academy in Katy, where she is | ||
| an honor student and a member of the National Honor Society; also an | ||
| accomplished athlete, she was named to the girls' soccer Academic | ||
| All-State Team for the 2016-2017 season; and | ||
| WHEREAS, While at West Point, this outstanding young Texan | ||
| plans to pursue a degree in law, and after graduation, she hopes to | ||
| continue her education by attending law school; and | ||
| WHEREAS, With her admission to the Military Academy at West | ||
| Point, Hannah Hirst may look forward to myriad exciting challenges | ||
| and opportunities, and she is indeed deserving of recognition for | ||
| her exemplary achievements; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Hannah Hirst on her acceptance to | ||
| the United States Military Academy at West Point and extend to her | ||
| sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Hirst as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
