R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, April 8, 2011, marked the 50th wedding anniversary
  of George and Frances Svatek of Temple, providing a fitting
  opportunity to reflect on their memorable journey together as
  husband and wife; and
         WHEREAS, George Svatek and the former Frances Zarsky were
  joined in matrimony in 1961 at a ceremony held at Sacred Heart
  Catholic Church in Crosby; through the years, they have been
  blessed with a treasured family that includes a daughter, Pam
  Tomme, and her husband, Chris, and a son, Brad Svatek; and
         WHEREAS, Respected 37-year residents of the Temple
  community, Mr. Svatek is retired from the U.S. Department of
  Agriculture after three and a half decades of service, and Mrs.
  Svatek has been employed by St. Francis Episcopal Church and School
  for 36 years; and
         WHEREAS, The 50 years of marriage that Mr. and Mrs. Svatek
  have shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of love and
  commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration to all who
  know them; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate George and Frances Svatek on their
  golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
  for continued happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Svatek as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
