WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories | ||
of Jerry Don McRoberts of Lumberton, who passed away on April 25, | ||
2013, at the age of 68; and | ||
WHEREAS, Jerry McRoberts was born to Estel Ray McRoberts and | ||
Willie Jewel Barks Hamm in Beaumont; he married the former Carolyn | ||
Cline on August 20, 1984, and the couple shared nearly three decades | ||
together; and | ||
WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of southeast Texas, | ||
Mr. McRoberts was an insulator with Local No. 22; and | ||
WHEREAS, Although Jerry McRoberts will be deeply missed, | ||
those fortunate enough to have known him will always remember him | ||
with great admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Jerry Don McRoberts | ||
and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to his | ||
wife, Carolyn McRoberts; to his son, Marshall McRoberts, and his | ||
wife, Judy; to his daughters, Donna McRoberts and Cary Buckner; to | ||
his mother, Willie Jewel Barks Hamm; to his half-sisters, Estel, | ||
Debra, and Barbara; to his three stepdaughters, five grandchildren, | ||
and two great-grandchildren; and to his other relatives and many | ||
friends; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jerry | ||
McRoberts. |
