R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
  of Jerry Don McRoberts of Lumberton, who passed away on April 25,
  2013, at the age of 68; and
         WHEREAS, Jerry McRoberts was born to Estel Ray McRoberts and
  Willie Jewel Barks Hamm in Beaumont; he married the former Carolyn
  Cline on August 20, 1984, and the couple shared nearly three decades
  together; and
         WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of southeast Texas,
  Mr. McRoberts was an insulator with Local No. 22; and
         WHEREAS, Although Jerry McRoberts will be deeply missed,
  those fortunate enough to have known him will always remember him
  with great admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Jerry Don McRoberts
  and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to his
  wife, Carolyn McRoberts; to his son, Marshall McRoberts, and his
  wife, Judy; to his daughters, Donna McRoberts and Cary Buckner; to
  his mother, Willie Jewel Barks Hamm; to his half-sisters, Estel,
  Debra, and Barbara; to his three stepdaughters, five grandchildren,
  and two great-grandchildren; and to his other relatives and many
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jerry
  McRoberts.
