WHEREAS, During the 84th Texas Legislature, Miranda Heck has | ||
ably served her fellow Texans in the office of State Representative | ||
Jason Isaac through the Texas A&M University Public Policy | ||
Internship Program; and | ||
WHEREAS, The program offers a unique opportunity for current | ||
A&M students to serve as interns in the Texas Legislature, allowing | ||
participants to gain a better understanding of the legislative | ||
process as well as their individual strengths and professional | ||
goals; and | ||
WHEREAS, Ms. Heck is a senior at A&M, working toward her | ||
bachelor of arts in telecommunications and a minor in English; she | ||
has taken part in the school's Big Event, and she gives freely of | ||
her time and talents as a summer volunteer for the Emporium of the | ||
Arts in Woodville; committed to her faith, she is active in the Hope | ||
Groups at Living Hope Baptist Church in College Station and with the | ||
TAMU Campus Crusade for Christ; and | ||
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her | ||
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is | ||
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby commend Miranda Heck for her service in the | ||
office of State Representative Jason Isaac as a participant in the | ||
Texas A&M University Public Policy Internship Program and extend to | ||
her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her future | ||
endeavors; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Ms. Heck as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. |
