| WHEREAS, During the 84th Texas Legislature, Miranda Heck has | ||
| ably served her fellow Texans in the office of State Representative | ||
| Jason Isaac through the Texas A&M University Public Policy | ||
| Internship Program; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The program offers a unique opportunity for current | ||
| A&M students to serve as interns in the Texas Legislature, allowing | ||
| participants to gain a better understanding of the legislative | ||
| process as well as their individual strengths and professional | ||
| goals; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Ms. Heck is a senior at A&M, working toward her | ||
| bachelor of arts in telecommunications and a minor in English; she | ||
| has taken part in the school's Big Event, and she gives freely of | ||
| her time and talents as a summer volunteer for the Emporium of the | ||
| Arts in Woodville; committed to her faith, she is active in the Hope | ||
| Groups at Living Hope Baptist Church in College Station and with the | ||
| TAMU Campus Crusade for Christ; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her | ||
| duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is | ||
| indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Miranda Heck for her service in the | ||
| office of State Representative Jason Isaac as a participant in the | ||
| Texas A&M University Public Policy Internship Program and extend to | ||
| her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her future | ||
| endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Heck as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
