R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Anna Newell has ably served her fellow Texans as a
committee clerk for the House Administration Committee and its
chair, State Representative Will Metcalf, during the 87th
Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Newell has ably handled
a wide variety of challenging tasks; in addition to gaining
valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned
more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens
of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a
legislative committee clerk with skill and dedication, and she is
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Anna Newell for her service as a
committee clerk in the office of State Representative Will Metcalf
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all
her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Newell as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
