R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Anna Newell has ably served her fellow Texans as a |
|
|
committee clerk for the House Administration Committee and its |
|
|
chair, State Representative Will Metcalf, during the 87th |
|
|
Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Newell has ably handled |
|
|
a wide variety of challenging tasks; in addition to gaining |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned |
|
|
more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens |
|
|
of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative committee clerk with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Anna Newell for her service as a |
|
|
committee clerk in the office of State Representative Will Metcalf |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all |
|
|
her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Newell as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
