H.R. No. 1763

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jimmy and Winona Milner of Lubbock celebrated their
60th wedding anniversary on March 27, 2013, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, Jimmy Milner and the former Winona McCoy exchanged
the vows of matrimony in Meadow in 1953, and over the course of
their marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Milner count among their blessings a
fine family that includes
three children, Becky Jones and her
husband, John, Kim Cousatte and her husband, Benny, and Dustin
Milner and his wife, Rhonda, as well as seven grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, For six decades, Jimmy and Winona Milner have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Jimmy and Winona Milner on their
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Milner as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
