| WHEREAS, Laura Grey of the Tuloso-Midway Independent School | ||
| District received a 2023 Women in Education Award from the | ||
| Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding Women in | ||
| Education event on March 29; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Ms. Grey has enjoyed a rewarding career at | ||
| Tuloso-Midway ISD that has spanned 21 years; she currently teaches | ||
| honors English classes at Tuloso-Midway High School, where she | ||
| provides a challenging yet nurturing environment for her students; | ||
| she has further distinguished herself through her work as a sponsor | ||
| for the International Studies and PAL programs; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Laura Grey has set an outstanding example of | ||
| leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is | ||
| indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Laura Grey on her receipt of a 2023 | ||
| Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center Region 2 | ||
| and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in her | ||
| important work; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Grey as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
