| WHEREAS, For a decade, Carrie J. Quinn has worked tirelessly | ||
| to build a solid educational foundation for the students of Nichols | ||
| Sawmill Elementary School in the Magnolia Independent School | ||
| District; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Currently serving as principal, Mrs. Quinn has been | ||
| an administrator at Nichols Sawmill Elementary School for 10 years, | ||
| and over the course of her exemplary tenure, she has distinguished | ||
| herself through her unwavering dedication to helping her students | ||
| reach their full potential and become engaged and productive | ||
| members of their community; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The daughter of two educators, Mrs. Quinn began her | ||
| career as an elementary school teacher, and she taught several | ||
| primary grades, including fourth grade reading/language arts; | ||
| after attending Texas A&M University, she spent two years in | ||
| Nashville and worked at WSIX radio station on Music Row; in all her | ||
| endeavors, she benefits from the love and support of her husband and | ||
| their two sons; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Nichols Sawmill Elementary School and Magnolia ISD | ||
| have benefited immeasurably from Carrie Quinn's leadership, | ||
| professionalism, and commitment to excellence, and she has earned | ||
| the admiration and appreciation of her colleagues and students; | ||
| now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Carrie J. Quinn for her 10 years of | ||
| service to Nichols Sawmill Elementary School and extend to her | ||
| sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mrs. Quinn as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
