WHEREAS, For a decade, Carrie J. Quinn has worked tirelessly | ||
to build a solid educational foundation for the students of Nichols | ||
Sawmill Elementary School in the Magnolia Independent School | ||
District; and | ||
WHEREAS, Currently serving as principal, Mrs. Quinn has been | ||
an administrator at Nichols Sawmill Elementary School for 10 years, | ||
and over the course of her exemplary tenure, she has distinguished | ||
herself through her unwavering dedication to helping her students | ||
reach their full potential and become engaged and productive | ||
members of their community; and | ||
WHEREAS, The daughter of two educators, Mrs. Quinn began her | ||
career as an elementary school teacher, and she taught several | ||
primary grades, including fourth grade reading/language arts; | ||
after attending Texas A&M University, she spent two years in | ||
Nashville and worked at WSIX radio station on Music Row; in all her | ||
endeavors, she benefits from the love and support of her husband and | ||
their two sons; and | ||
WHEREAS, Nichols Sawmill Elementary School and Magnolia ISD | ||
have benefited immeasurably from Carrie Quinn's leadership, | ||
professionalism, and commitment to excellence, and she has earned | ||
the admiration and appreciation of her colleagues and students; | ||
now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby commend Carrie J. Quinn for her 10 years of | ||
service to Nichols Sawmill Elementary School and extend to her | ||
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mrs. Quinn as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
