relating to a memorial monument dedicated to emergency medical | ||
services personnel in the State Cemetery. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Section 2165.2561, Government Code, is amended | ||
by adding Subsection (w) to read as follows: | ||
(w) The State Cemetery Committee shall erect an appropriate | ||
memorial monument in the State Cemetery dedicated to emergency | ||
medical services personnel, as defined by Section 773.003, Health | ||
and Safety Code, in this state. Money in the State Cemetery | ||
preservation trust fund created under Section 2165.2565 may be used | ||
to erect and maintain the memorial monument described by this | ||
subsection. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
