Summary
As introduced, establishes that it is not an offense for a veteran who has been awarded the Purple Heart to possess less than 0.5 ounces of marijuana if the person retains proof of the awarding of the Purple Heart and a recommendation from a licensed doctor regarding the medical use of marijuana. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 4.
