Summary
A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 10-1-215 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT AT THE REQUEST OF THE LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION OF A COUNTY IN WHICH AN HISTORIC OR ARCHITECTURALLY SIGNIFICANT BUILDING OR STRUCTURE IN NEED OF REPAIR IS LOCATED, WHICH IS OWNED BY A STATE AGENCY OR DEPARTMENT OR BY A PROGRAM OR TRUST ADMINISTERED BY THE AGENCY OR DEPARTMENT, THE AGENCY SHALL PRESENT WITHIN NINETY DAYS OF THE REQUEST A PLAN OF RENOVATION TO THE DELEGATION AND TO THE CHAIRMAN OF THE HOUSE WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE AND THE SENATE FINANCE COMMITTEE IF ADDITIONAL FUNDING IS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE RENOVATIONS.

Provide That At The Request Of The Legislative Delegation Of A County In Which An Historic Or Architecturally Significant Building Or Structure In Need Of Repair Is Located, Which Is Owned By A State Agency Or Department Or By A Program Or Trust Administered By The Agency Or Department, The Agency Shall Present Within Ninety Days Of The Request A Plan Of Renovation To The Delegation And To The Chairman Of The House Ways And Means Committee And The Senate Finance Committee If Additional Funding Is Needed To Complete The Renovations.
