AN ACT

Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

2

Statutes, further providing for unlawful devices and methods.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

4

hereby enacts as follows:

5

Section 1.  Section 2308(b)(1) of Title 34 of the

6

Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a

7

subparagraph to read:

8

§ 2308.  Unlawful devices and methods.

9

(b)  Exceptions.--The provisions of subsection (a) shall not

11

apply to:

(1)  * * *

(iv)  A properly licensed disabled hunter using a

14

device that locks or holds a bow in the fully drawn

15

position. For purposes of this subparagraph, a disabled

16

hunter is any resident whose physical disability consists

of the loss of one or more limbs, or the loss of the use

2

of one or more limbs, or whose physical disability is

3

considered total and who meets all other qualifications

4

of this title and is otherwise mentally and physically

5

fit.
