                      SENATE AMENDMENTS TO
                         SENATE BILL 739

              By JOINT COMMITTEE ON WAYS AND MEANS

                             June 27

  On page 1 of the printed bill, line 2, after 'provisions; '
delete the rest of the line and insert 'amending ORS 329.492;
appropriating money; and declaring an emergency.'.
  On page 2, after line 2, insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 3. + }  { + In addition to and not in lieu of
any other appropriation, there is appropriated to the Department
of Education, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2013, out of the
General Fund, the amount of $146,167, which may be expended for
the purpose of complying with the provisions of this 2013
Act. + }
  '  { +  SECTION 4. + }  { + This 2013 Act being necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and
safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2013 Act
takes effect July 1, 2013. + } ' .
