It is an editor's brief statement of the essential features of the measure as introduced. Requires law enforcement agency to alter police vehicle so that it no longer resembles police vehicle before selling or transferring title. A BILL FOR AN ACT Relating to police vehicles. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon: SECTION 1. { + Before selling or transferring title to a police vehicle, a law enforcement agency, as defined in ORS 136.595, shall take all steps necessary to alter the vehicle so that the vehicle no longer resembles a police vehicle, including painting the vehicle a solid color, removing any insignia or other marking of the vehicle identifying it as a police vehicle and removing the spotlights, push bumper and light bar. + } ----------
