  Requires name of member or committee of Legislative Assembly
requesting set of proposed amendments to legislative measure to
be identified on proposed amendments. Allows additional sponsors
to be listed.

                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to the amendment of legislative measures.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + (1) Each set of proposed amendments to a
legislative measure shall bear the name of the member or
committee of the Legislative Assembly that requested the proposed
amendments and may contain the names of any other members of the
Legislative Assembly who choose to sponsor the proposed
amendments.
  (2) A set of proposed amendments may contain the name of a
sponsor in addition to the requester only if written notification
of the sponsorship is provided to the Legislative Counsel at the
time the proposed amendments are requested. + }
