Summary

Allows insurer or self-insured employer to mail notice of closure of workers' compensation claim to beneficiaries of deceased worker under certain circumstances. Establishes right of beneficiaries of deceased worker to request reconsideration of notice of closure. Includes necessary interpreter services in expenses that must be paid by insurer or self-insured employer in relation to deposition in reconsideration proceeding. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
