Summary

Adds peer support specialist, family support specialist and youth support specialist to membership of Traditional Health Workers Commission. Modifies definition of "peer support specialist" and "peer wellness specialist," and adds definitions for "family support specialist" and "youth support specialist." Requires coordinated care organizations to ensure members have access to peer support specialists. Authorizes Oregon Health Authority to adopt qualification criteria for traditional health workers utilized by coordinated care organizations. Requires Attorney General and Director of Oregon Health Authority to collaborate with coordinated care organizations and groups that advocate for survivors of intimate partner violence to develop and implement plan to incorporate advocates for domestic and sexual violence survivors into workforce of traditional health workers serving medical assistance recipients.
