A BILL

To enact section 6133.041 of the Revised Code to

authorize a joint board of county commissioners to

conduct proceedings regarding existing joint

county ditches via teleconference or video

4

conference.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That section 6133.041 of the Revised Code be	6
enacted to read as follows:	7

Sec. 6133.041. Notwithstanding any other provision of this	8
chapter or Chapter 6131. of the Revised Code to the contrary, a	9
joint board of county commissioners, when practicable, may conduct	10
proceedings regarding existing improvements by teleconference or	11
video conference. The joint board shall make provisions for public	12
attendance at any location involved in such a proceeding. Nothing	13
in section 121.22 of the Revised Code prohibits a joint board of	14
county commissioners from conducting a proceeding in a manner	15
authorized by this section.	16
