STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 8792 IN SENATE March 12, 2024 ___________ Introduced by Sen. HARCKHAM -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Investigations and Govern- ment Operations AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to providing the village of Ossining, Westchester county, with an exemption from restrictions on the hours of sale of alcoholic beverag- es at retail for on-premises consumption The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 106 of the alcoholic beverage control law is 2 amended by adding a new subdivision 5-a to read as follows: 3 5-a. Notwithstanding any provision of law, rule or regulation to the 4 contrary, the provisions of subdivision five of this section shall not 5 apply to the village of Ossining, Westchester county. 6 § 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall 7 have become a law. EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [] is old law to be omitted. LBD14856-01-4
