AN ACT to amend a chapter of the laws of 2010, enacting the Education,
Labor and Family Assistance budget, in relation to making technical
corrections thereto
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1 Section 1. That part, entitled "Education Department", of section 1 of
2 a chapter of the laws of 2010 entitled "Education, Labor and Family
3 Assistance Budget", is amended by adding thereto the items hereinbelow
4 set forth in italics as follows:
5 STATE OPERATIONS AND AID TO LOCALITIES 2010-11
6 ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE, SECONDARY AND CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAM
7 General Fund / Aid to Localities
8 Local Assistance Account - 001
9 FOR PAYMENTS TO PAROCHIAL AND NON-PUBLIC
10 ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS TO REIM-
11 BURSE SUCH SCHOOLS FOR PAYMENTS MADE
12 PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 23 OF THE TAX LAW ........ 6,000,000
13 S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
14 have been in full force and effect on and after April 1, 2010.
