Section 334 of the real property tax law is amended by 2 adding a new subdivision 4 to read as follows: 3 4. Notwithstanding the provisions of subdivision two of this section, 4 subdivision five of section three hundred ten of this title shall apply 5 to the city of Albany on and after January first, two thousand nineteen, 6 provided that an assessor whose term commenced prior to January first, 7 two thousand nineteen shall have until January first, two thousand twen- 8 ty-one to complete requirements of paragraph (a) of such subdivision 9 five. 10 § 2.
