        AN  ACT to amend the real property tax law, in relation to authorizing a
          residential redevelopment  inhibited  property  exemption  in  certain
          cities
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1.  Paragraph (f) of subdivision 1 of  section  485-r  of  the
     2  real property tax law, as added by a chapter of the laws of 2015, amend-
     3  ing  the  real  property  tax  law relating to authorizing a residential
     4  redevelopment  inhibited  property  exemption  in  certain  cities,   as
     5  proposed  in legislative bills numbers S.5196-A and A.7570-A, is amended
     6  to read as follows:
     7    (f) "City" shall mean [cities] a city with a population  of  not  less
     8  than  fifteen thousand two hundred fifty and not more than fifteen thou-
     9  sand five hundred as determined by the latest federal  decennial  census
    10  [for the year two thousand ten].
    11    §  2.  This  act  shall  take  effect on the same date and in the same
    12  manner as a chapter of the laws of 2015, amending the real property  tax
    13  law  relating to authorizing a residential redevelopment inhibited prop-
    14  erty exemption in certain  cities,  as  proposed  in  legislative  bills
    15  numbers S.5196-A and A.7570-A, takes effect.
