STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 6026 2019-2020 Regular Sessions IN SENATE May 16, 2019 ___________ Introduced by Sen. GAUGHRAN -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government AN ACT to amend the real property tax law, in relation to subjecting the Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve and Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park to taxation for all purposes The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 532 of the real property tax law is amended by 2 adding two new subdivisions (l) and (m) to read as follows: 3 (l) All state lands located within the boundaries of the Caumsett 4 State Historic Park Preserve in the county of Suffolk, exclusive of the 5 improvements thereon. 6 (m) All state lands located within the boundaries of Planting Fields 7 Arboretum State Historic Park in the county of Nassau, exclusive of the 8 improvements thereon. 9 § 2. This act shall take effect April 1, 2020. EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [] is old law to be omitted. LBD11852-01-9
