          when printed to be committed to the Committee on Transportation
        AN ACT to amend part E of a chapter of the laws of  2017,  amending  the
          vehicle  and  traffic law relating to reciprocal agreements concerning
          suspension or revocation  of  registration  of  a  motor  vehicle  for
          violations  of toll collection regulations, as proposed in legislative
          bill numbers S.  2008-C  and  A.  3008-C,  in  relation  to  reporting
          requirements
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. The opening paragraph of paragraph (a) of section 2 of part
     2  E of a chapter of the laws of 2017, amending the vehicle and traffic law
     3  relating to reciprocal agreements concerning suspension or revocation of
     4  registration of a motor vehicle for violations of toll collection  regu-
     5  lations,  as  proposed  in  legislative  bill  numbers  S. 2008-C and A.
     6  3008-C, is amended to read as follows:
     7    The commissioner of motor vehicles shall,  in  consultation  with  the
     8  thruway  authority, the triborough bridge and tunnel authority, the port
     9  authority of New York and New Jersey, and every other  public  authority
    10  which  operates  a  toll  highway,  bridge and/or tunnel facility in the
    11  state of New York, submit a report on or before the first day of  Febru-
    12  ary  of  each  year,  to  the  governor,  the temporary president of the
    13  senate, the speaker of the assembly, the chairs of the senate and assem-
    14  bly transportation committees, and the chairs of the senate and assembly
    15  corporations,  authorities  and  commissions  committee  on   reciprocal
    16  compacts  and  agreements  entered  into  pursuant to section 518 of the
    17  vehicle and traffic law. Such report  shall  identify  each  state  with
    18  which  the  commissioner has entered such a reciprocal compact or agree-
    19  ment. Such report shall also include, but not be limited to, the follow-
    20  ing information:

     1    § 2. This act shall take effect on the  same  date  and  in  the  same
     2  manner  as part E of a chapter of the laws of 2017, amending the vehicle
     3  and traffic law relating to reciprocal agreements concerning  suspension
     4  or  revocation of registration of a motor vehicle for violations of toll
     5  collection  regulations,  as  proposed  in  legislative  bill numbers S.
     6  2008-C and A. 3008-C, takes effect.
