       Introduced  by  Sen.  ORTT  --  read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be committed  to  the  Committee  on  Local  Government  --
         committee  discharged,  bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and
         recommitted to said committee
       AN ACT to amend the real property tax law,  in  relation  to  subjecting
         certain state lands to real property taxation
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Section 532 of the real property  tax  law  is  amended  by
    2  adding two new subdivisions (k) and (l) to read as follows:
    3    (K) ALL LANDS OWNED BY THE STATE IN NIAGARA COUNTY.
    4    (L) ALL LANDS OWNED BY THE STATE IN ORLEANS COUNTY.
    5    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall apply to assess-
    6  ment  rolls  prepared  on the basis of taxable status dates occurring on
    7  and after such effective date.
