       Introduced  by  Sen.  KRUGER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be committed to the Committee on Crime Victims,  Crime  and
         Correction
       AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to eligibility for awards
         from the office of victim services
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Subdivision 6 of  section  631  of  the  executive  law  is
    2  amended by adding a new paragraph (f) to read as follows:
    3    (F)  IN THE EVENT THAT A CLAIMANT IS A PERSON OVER SIXTY YEARS OF AGE,
    4  THE PROVISIONS OF PARAGRAPH (A) OF THIS SUBDIVISION SHALL NOT APPLY.
    5    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and  shall  apply  to  all
    6  claims pending and filed on and after such date.
