         tion -- committee  discharged,  bill  amended,  ordered  reprinted  as
         amended and recommitted to said committee
       AN  ACT  to  amend  the  vehicle and traffic law, in relation to certain
         registrations of vehicles
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  The  eighth  undesignated  paragraph  of paragraph (f) of
    2  subdivision 15 of section 385 of the vehicle and traffic law, as amended
    3  by section 4 of part C of chapter 59 of the laws of 2004, is amended  to
    4  read as follows:
    5    The  department  of  transportation  may issue a seasonal agricultural
    6  permit in accordance with subparagraphs (i),  (ii)  and  (iii)  of  this
    7  paragraph  that  will  be  valid  [for four consecutive months] FROM THE
    8  FIRST OF APRIL TO THE ELEVENTH OF NOVEMBER with a fee equal to  one-half
    9  the annual permit fees established under this subdivision.
   10    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
