Senate Resolution No. 2110

        HONORING  Deacon Kevin McCormack upon the occasion
        of his designation for special  recognition  by  The
        Bridge To Life organization

  WHEREAS,  Individuals  who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

  WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and  in  full  accord  with  its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Deacon  Kevin McCormack upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by The Bridge To Life organization, to be celebrated at  its
32nd  Anniversary Gala on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Leonard's Palazzo in
Great Neck, New York; and

  WHEREAS, Deacon Kevin McCormack has given not only of his  time  and
energies  but  also of his competence, intelligence, and leadership, and
consequently has been designated for special honor; and

  WHEREAS, As superintendent  of  Catholic  Schools  in  Brooklyn  and
Queens,  New  York,  Deacon  Kevin  McCormack has consistently exhibited
dedication to nurturing and caring for the youth  within  his  community
and  beyond, and has enabled The Bridge To Life to further their mission
and outreach by working with schools throughout the diocese; and

  WHEREAS, Deacon Kevin McCormack's  lifework  and  responsibility  to
fostering  healthy,  positive,  and loving environments for the youth of
our State ties seamlessly into the mission of The Bridge  To  Life;  his
pride  in  educating  and encouraging younger generations to become Life
Ambassadors is a testament to his admirable character and contributes to
the levels of such high respect he has earned from all  those  he  works
with  and  has  gotten to know in his professional and charitable deeds;
and

  WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his service,  a  period  of
constructive  involvement,  Deacon Kevin McCormack has stood constant in
dignity and good grace; and

  WHEREAS, Rare indeed  is  the  impressive  dedication  shown  by  an
individual  for  the  benefit of others which Deacon Kevin McCormack has
displayed throughout his life; now, therefore, be it

  RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its  deliberations  to
honor  Deacon  Kevin  McCormack upon the occasion of his designation for
special recognition by The  Bridge  To  Life  organization;  and  be  it
further

  RESOLVED,  That  a  copy  of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Deacon Kevin McCormack.
