         Committee on Local Governments -- committee discharged, bill  amended,
         ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee
       AN  ACT  in relation to authorizing the use of sewer surplus for infras-
         tructure projects other than sewer projects in the  Village  of  Sher-
         burne
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1.  Notwithstanding section 453 of the general  municipal  law
    2  or  any other provision of law to the contrary, the village of Sherburne
    3  is hereby authorized to use revenues derived from sewer  rents  for  the
    4  payment  of  expenses  or  obligations incurred by such municipality for
    5  infrastructure improvements, or to be placed in a special fund,  not  to
    6  exceed  forty  percent of the surplus to be used specifically for future
    7  infrastructure improvements.
    8    S 2. This act shall take effect on the sixtieth  day  after  it  shall
    9  have become a law.
