          NIOU, DE LOS SANTOS, FRONTUS, TAPIA, FORREST, GONZALEZ-ROJAS, GALLAGH-
          ER, GOTTFRIED, SIMON, HEVESI, GLICK, DAVILA -- read once and  referred
          to  the  Committee  on  Housing -- committee discharged, bill amended,
          ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee

        AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the  city  of  New  York,  in
          relation to New York city housing authority code violations

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. The administrative code of the city of New York is  amended
     2  by adding a new section 27-2154 to read as follows:
     3    §  27-2154 Housing authority code violations.  The department of hous-
     4  ing preservation and development and the department of  buildings  shall
     5  each  maintain  data  on  their  respective websites recording open code
     6  violations in public housing developments owned by  the  New  York  city
     7  housing  authority  in the same manner as such departments maintain data
     8  recording open code violations of private entities.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of January next  succeed-
    10  ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
